Cutting too short is the single most common cause of a weak, mossy, weed-filled lawn — it stresses the grass and hands an open invitation to everything you do not want. We keep the sward a little longer in high summer to hold moisture, and drop the height gradually in autumn. The result is thicker grass that crowds weeds out on its own.

Yes. We carry full public liability insurance and are happy to send you a copy of the certificate before any work starts. We are also a registered waste carrier, so any garden waste we take away is disposed of legally and responsibly.

No. Our subscriptions are rolling and you can pause, resume or cancel them yourself at any time from your online account. We ask for a little notice where we can get it, purely so we can offer your slot to someone else, but there is no minimum term and no exit fee.
Light rain is not a problem and we will work through it. If conditions are genuinely unsuitable — heavy rain, waterlogged ground, high winds when we are working at height — we will contact you and move the visit to the next available day. You are never charged for a visit that does not happen.
