Straight lines, square tops, no mess
A well-cut hedge sets the tone for an entire garden. We cut to a proper line and a slight batter — narrower at the top than the base — so light reaches the whole face and the hedge stays dense and green from top to bottom instead of going bare and woody at the bottom.
It is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to damage or destroy an active nest. Between March and August we check every hedge before starting, and if we find an active nest we will leave that section and come back once the birds have fledged. We would rather reschedule than get this wrong.
We are equipped and insured for hedges well above head height, working from professional platforms rather than balancing on a wheelie bin. Tell us the rough height and length and we will quote accurately first time.

Yes. We carry full public liability insurance and are happy to send you a copy of the certificate before any work starts. We are also a registered waste carrier, so any garden waste we take away is disposed of legally and responsibly.
Regular maintenance visits start at £35 and grass cutting starts at £18 a visit. The exact price depends on the size of your garden, how often we visit and how much access we have. No. Our subscriptions are rolling and you can pause, resume or cancel them yourself at any time from your online account. We ask for a little notice where we can get it, purely so we can offer your slot to someone else, but there is no minimum term and no exit fee.
Light rain is not a problem and we will work through it. If conditions are genuinely unsuitable — heavy rain, waterlogged ground, high winds when we are working at height — we will contact you and move the visit to the next available day. You are never charged for a visit that does not happen.
